ReviewSpot ("ReviewSpot," "we," "us," or "our") provides reputation management software and services to local businesses, including tools to request, monitor, and manage customer reviews. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit joinreviewspot.com (the "Site") or use our services (the "Services"). By using the Site or Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you contact us, book a call, sign up for the Services, or fill out a form on the Site, we may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and any other information you choose to share.

Information we collect on behalf of our clients. ReviewSpot's core service helps local businesses request reviews from their own customers. When a business (a "Client") uses our Services, the Client may upload or connect their customers' contact information (such as names, phone numbers, and email addresses) so that ReviewSpot can send review-request messages on the Client's behalf. In this context, ReviewSpot acts as a service provider processing that data for the Client, not as the original collector of it. Clients are responsible for having the legal right and appropriate consent to share their customers' contact information with us for this purpose, including compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and any applicable state privacy laws.

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we may automatically collect certain information when you visit the Site, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs, typically through cookies and similar tracking technologies.

Payment information. If applicable, payment details are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to: provide, operate, and maintain the Services (including sending review-request texts and emails on behalf of Clients); communicate with you about your account, appointments, and support requests; improve and personalize the Site and Services; send marketing communications where you've opted in, and allow you to opt out at any time; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that support our operations, including our CRM/automation platform (GoHighLevel), SMS/email delivery providers, calendar and scheduling tools, and payment processors; Clients, with respect to data about their own customers that they've connected to our platform; legal or regulatory authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property; and a successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Cookies and Tracking

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and support analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some Site functionality.

5. Text Messaging and Email Communications

By providing your phone number or email address, you may receive messages from ReviewSpot or on behalf of a Client using our Services, including review requests, appointment reminders, and account notifications. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying "STOP," and out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any email. Opting out of a Client's review-request messages does not necessarily opt you out of that Client's other, unrelated communications.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Clients may request deletion of their customers' data from our systems, and we will honor such requests consistent with applicable law and our contractual obligations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing or communications. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. If you are a customer of one of our Clients and want your data removed from a review-request campaign, you may also contact that Client directly.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site and Services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
